Roots of Oak – Donovan
08/15/2011
Absolutely amazing piece of folk rock (Celtic rock to be precise). The tricky bit here is the intro. It seems to be played by two guitars (and possibly two guitarists too, but I’m not sure about that), each capoed at different frets. Enough talk, go through the tabs!
Intro (using flageolet harmonics):
1) play EADGB strings on 13th fret with the capo on the 1st fret
2) play EADGB strings on 15th fret with the capo on the 3rd fret
3) repeat
Chords (without a capo)

Shadow of cloud falls and with it a chill
Ab Gm
High o'er heather, hawk hover the hill
Cm Gm7
Just begun is my journey and Danu's my name
Ab Gm
I am the juggler of fortune and fame
