I had some trouble with the lyrics to the verse where Jerry stomps the boss. If you have a good idea, write it in the comments.

n.c G#m
You gotta haul that timber 'fore the sun goes down
C#m G#m
Drag it cross the river for the boss come around
    G#m C#m
You drag it on down that dusty road
G#m n.c. G#m
Come on Jerry let's haul this load

G#m
Timber, timber
C#m G#m
Lord, that timber gotta roll
C#m G#m
Lord, that timber gotta roll

G#m
Now, my old Jerry is an Arkansas mule
He been everywhere and he ain't no fool
He weighed nine hundred and twenty-two
Done everything a damn mule can do

Timber, timber
Lord, that timber gotta roll
Lord, that timber gotta roll

Now, Jerry's old shoulder stand nine feet tall
He pulled more lumber than a freight can haul
But work gets a-heavy, Jerry got sore
Pulled so much he wouldn't pull no more

Timber, timber
Lord, that timber gotta roll
Lord, that timber gotta roll

Boss hit Jerry and he made him jump
Jerry reared up and kicked that boss in the rump
Now my old Jerry is a good old mule
Had it been me I woulda killed that fool

Timber, timber
Lord, that timber gotta roll
Lord, that timber gotta roll

The boss tried to shoot ol' Jerry in the head
Jerry ducked the bullet stomped that boss man dead
Stomped that boss and it wasn't clean
Should have killed him, cos he's so danm mean

Timber, timber
Lord, that timber gotta roll
Lord, that timber gotta roll

You gotta haul that timber 'fore the sun goes down
Drag it cross the river for the boss come around
You drag it on down that dusty road
Come on Jerry let's haul this load

Timber, timber
Lord, that timber gotta roll
Lord, that timber gotta roll

It’s ——- Drag it cross the river for the boss come around——– in the first and last verse. And the verse where the boss tries to shoot Jerry———- Jerry ducked the bullet stomped that boss man dead, stomped that boss and it wasn’t clean———-
